Do I even want to know what the heading meant? I think it said "something's missing" but I'm not sure what that references unless an earlier video showed the casket was empty or not. Either way...
WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE DOWN THERE??!?

It colloquially means "What you [formal] missed" - like on the news when they sum up the days events.

While I can't imagine there was anyone in the casket, I also can't reconcile why there'd be that many people gathered if it were not for the funeral.

This is in our way to Palo Alto. The dude who lives here recently poured this concrete slab *to park his truck*. Notice the 2-3 inch sticks that hold it up. That's it. Just the sticks.

Now, we wait. Image

What could be the problem here? It's not like there is ever any seismic activity there that could disturb the balance or alignment of said sticks... Oh, wait.

Haiti called. They'd like your poor-taste joke back.

The joke must have been inadvertent. I still don't see it :). Unless you mean @Stewmuse's comment about seismic activity. That's justified, as this area is prone to regular earthquakes (which is why we're on our 3rd school in 3 years).

By the way, he has indeed been parking a truck on that thing. I am gobsmacked that it didn't fall immediately. He puts the weight of a truck...on the slab....and blocks....all held up by nothing but sticks and hope.

It was in response to Mike...
Compressive strength of wood parallel to the grain can be staggering. I'm more interested in whatever foundation he's got that isn't allowing those sticks to sink. What's he have, 5 of them? I think Concrete is 80 pounds per SF @ 4" thick. If that's a 150 SF carport and he's got a 3000# truck and a 12,000 slab, that's 3000pounds on each of those. Assuming he doweled it into the house, it's roughly halved to 1500. Those sticks might be 10 sq.in. each. That's 150psi compressive strength. Normal soil around here can't be designed to withstand more than 20 psi, some even allowing no more than 11psi

80lbs/Sq foot @ 4”??? Nah... the 4x8x16 concrete blocks I did some short wall building with are only about 30lbs. Regardless, it’s still a LOT of weight held up by pretty thin wooden stakes/posts.
