Did I mention there's an inverse proportion between snarky comments and the weight of your box?

Re: Absence
Nice to know I've got a support system in place here...
I'm back! First of all, I'm running an iPhone (bastards). Second of all, I'm a pretty status-quo sorta guy. When something's rocking my boat I tend to tighten things down pretty abruptly. I was (am) going through some difficult professional times with a project closing and another larger one (and much more complex) ramping up. That turbulence is difficult for me. I am not really a social guy when my professional life takes a turn. Actually, you could say that I'm not really that social of a person at the best of times.
That being said, my free time was all but eliminated until late in the evening and I used that for recharge. I know, i know, that sounds terrible that you all weren't part of my "recharging", but it was more about holding on to my core than my hobbies. I didn't abandon cigars, I just viewed much that involved them as being non-essential. Since this type of communication takes effort from me I wanted to conserve that energy for what really matters. I know it sounds very new-age Californian but being that I'm such a hermit, you all will have to just deal with it.
Regardless of it all, I'm back now and posting up a storm. Let's just hope that things stay status-quo and I'm here for good!
