Gracias fellers. Pretty good day so far. I've been elbow deep in 2 toilets and now shoulder deep in the truck trying to get the starter out. If any of you know any Nissan product engineers who worked on designing the 2003 Frontier, punch them in the throat for me.

I'm teasing about all the grumpiness, BTW. I've grown to be able and enjoy a day (most of the time), even when it has bothersome details. Toilets are fixed. Starter is out and ready to trade for a new one tomorrow. What else could I ask for?

Glad to hear it was a productive day and Happy belated birthday Kip. I celebrated with 12 hours of a days rehearsal for my two daughters so two toilets and a starter sound pretty good.

There seems to be a trend here. On the mid-late 90s Cavaliers the water pump was placed so perfectly behind the backside of the block that there was no way to remove it without also removing said engine block. I'm pretty sure whoever's seriously uttered the phrase "form over function" also deserves that throat punch.
