Does anyone else hate work?
I'll be around more. I'm finding that this week seems to have more makeup for my trip than last. Odd...

I think you're my least favorite person now, Swede. Ha! Just kidding, of course.

My work isn't the issue, the location is. Put me in Costa Rica or somewhere temperate with no winters, and I will gladly do the same job.

Work itself isn't an issue; I don't mind a good day's work - IF I feel like something even remotely worthwhile has been accomplished. The trouble for me in the position I've had the past 15 years (and the one before that) is that my days are spent dancing on strings to please various regulatory agencies.....many of which have little foundation in actually making anything better. Largely, they're rampant bureaucracy run wild........and no one knows what to do. So, we throw more bureaucracy at it and hope they figure out how to do it. It's a vicious cycle, really.
Our move to the DR; where I can be a small part of doing something that matters. Something helpful. Something needed by the needy. That's what I'm looking forward to today.
