Apparently you've never tried one of these. Your statement is forgivable.Stewmuse wrote:Quit being such a Nancy. They're just avocados, not something like cow cuds.kurtdesign1 wrote:It's all right, everyone. I just vomited for all of us!Kip wrote:Other one, too.... Just a little slower to grow.

After chasing it around for a bit, it went MIA inside the stove (went under the unit, then up into its workings. Tried waiting him out. Tried cooking him out with the stove pulled out in the center of the floor...no chance of other escape. I took all the panels I could easily get to off, but still nada. I'm certain it's in there still. Stove is now on the patio being watched closely.....

Regardless of one's feelings toward this particular type of aguacate, I have to admit I am far - FAR - more fascinated by these two little trees than I would have expected. Y'know - the whole "Miracle of Life" schtick. Cool stuff.kurtdesign1 wrote:I assume "crecen" means something along the lines of "The torturous bane of all that tastes fair". Am I correct?
Oh, man. I can completely get that. Elly and I were given an orchid when Luke was born nearly 6 years ago. I have worked with that orchid more than I ever thought possible. I've transplanted it, watered it, pruned it, root pruned it, studied up for it, watched it, trained it, etc. etc. It's crazy how a plant can captivate you. I completely get that.Kip wrote:Regardless of one's feelings toward this particular type of aguacate, I have to admit I am far - FAR - more fascinated by these two little trees than I would have expected.
