Post by Zedman05 » Sat Oct 07, 2017 11:30 am

Just built my system last night. Man, I miss some of the old games. Played Punch out a bunch last night already. I also have my all-time favorite....Zelda !!! So cool. ImageImageImage

Gaming is wholly NOT my thing, but the fact that you MacGyvered it all together is definitely cool. Have a great time!

Wait, wait, wait. What in the bloody hell is happening in this post? I know there are websites that you can download game content/data from but I never really knew what or how they worked. You managed to create an old school video game system to play Nintendo and SNES games??

OK... I remember going to Vimm.net back in the day and grabbing a NES emulater back in the late 90s and playing Tecmo Bowl and such on my old PC. But what is this? It looks like you made an actual console with programmed controllers to go direct to a tv. Was it a tutorial site you found? Or did you just figure it out?
Why DOES the moon follow the car?

Look up retropie. It is an emulator that you can put on a raspberry Pi, like mine, or PC or Mac. Then you.....get ..... the games later.
Mine is set up on the tv. Hdmi output. Snes controllers, but I can connect my PS3 and Xbox360 controllers to it through built in bluetooth.
