The time has come....

Post by Kip » Thu Jul 31, 2014 2:36 pm

Are there any pipesmokers around? I've been contemplating adding pipe tobaccos into the mix on The Cigarmy for over 2 years, and with Craig on Half Ashed for nearly as long. It's time. I've been concocting a way to do the reviews on The Cigarmy. Pipe tobacco is a different animal than cigars, so the reviews will have to be structured differently. I've figured out a way that I can assign multiply ratings (on a 5-star scale) for as many categories as I'd like.

By the way, what I'm working on includes FULL user interactivity. Users could enter their own written review, as well as assign 0-5 star ratings for the same categories as me. They just have to prove they're a real person by either: creating a profile on The Cigarmy, or verify their identity by using Twitter, Facebook, or Google+ validation.

Now the question: What categories (or aspects) would you like to see for assigning the star ratings? Burn qualities? Value? Strength? Flavor? Balance (between strength & flavor)? What else?

Check that - you will also be able to submit the review with a valid email address. You don't have to create a profile....

Sorry, but the only pipe stuff I do usually involves blue, pink, or yellow plastc and bubbles...
