Nice but it did burn a little hot. Mac Baren just does me good. Really enjoy their blends. Enjoy

Sitting in the shade on this hot morning. Enjoying some Old Dark Fired flake with my Folgers. I wonder how long this pound is going to last me? Enjoy

Old Dark Fired, in one of the more peculiar pipes I own. I'm going through those I left behind at Slagle's. Confession: there are considerably more than I remembered. This one was part of a particular subset of my collection, centered around the old Sterncrest company.

Finishing up a bowl of Haunted Bookshop in my 321 Savinelli. Late night so I need a good pick me up with my coffee and this blend is just that. I will always have this on hand. Ordered 2lbs and I just love this burley. Enjoy

Re: Whats in your bowl?
We're in TN now, and a very good friend from my past (actually a pastor from years ago) ordered me a pipe and had it delivered to my Mom's house in anticipation of my arrival. He had one like it that I adored when I saw him a couple years back, so he bought me one. I have better friends than I deserve, and I include you fellers in that statement.
I'm enjoying some MacBaren Navy Flake in it now....

Goes to show the limited knowledge of the Soccer fan on the art of modern plumbing-sport infusion:
A deodorant puck is what goes in a urinal. Thus instead of a green bottom with a tiny soccer ball in net, it should be a blue base with the puck in the net.
Either way one has to wonder if the word GOOOOAAAAAaaallll! can be heard screamed from the Mens at any given time?
Why DOES the moon follow the car?

Re: Whats in your bowl?
Trying very hard - and very unsuccessfully - to finish off this Navy Flake, this morning in a Ryland Doyle creation I'd forgotten I owned until I got back to the US. It has a lovely Cumberland stem and just enough imperfection to remind you it's handmade. I'm not sure why it was considered far enough down the rotation that I left it behind. It's going back this time, though.
As for the tobacco, it sometimes garners more scrutiny for all my baggage when I travel with loose pipe tobacco. So, I try to stay limited to sealed tins....but it appears this time I'll just deal with the extra scrutiny. I'm not going to be able to finish the jar before tomorrow.
