First of the cigars I brought back from DR, all brands of which I had not previously heard. Escudo Real, about 5x50, is a very pleasant, if a bit on the mild side, cigar. Ran about $8.00 American. If they show up around your neck if the woods, they’re worth a try!

A Leoninos from La Aurora that I had the first week of the new year and was too lazy to post. This entire box of Corojitos seems to be at the apex of its greatness. Now I am not saying that says a lot considering they ran for less than $1 a stick on closeout when I got them years ago, but I have loved every one I have had so far this go round.

I had a brief affair with those Leoninos quite awhile back. They were too varied from stick to stick and found too many that weren’t to my liking. I’m glad they’re treating you well, DC!
