I saw that and thought that but never remembered Pete having a Gender Rights position. That said, the Mexican Experiment does sound familiar. I recall him talking about he and Pepin never having worked with the tobacco before. I also recall it being excellent and leading to a mini rebirth of the cigars coming out of the MF facrory.
I look forward to the timeline biography of Tatuaje and My Father being published. That's an interesting story I'd like to know more about.

"does sound familiar"? I've prattled on ad infinitum about this cigar. It may very well be my favorite Tatuaje ever made. I had people all over the 2 geographical areas it was sold in digging them up for me in dozens of shops.
Of course, all this happened just before Half Ashed started so I won't blame you. Suffice it to say, I *really* loved this cigar when it came out initially.
I have 2 left in the humidor, but promised them to my son when he's of age. I take them out and look at them every once in a while....and wonder if he'd really notice them not being in his collection any more....

Unlike your ignorant, and oh-so obviously uncaring, cohost, I remember you talking about those cigars. The main reason I remember, is because every time you brought it up, I would think of how much I dislike Mexican tobacco.
Mexican tobacco, in general and Sumatran are both flavor profiles I just cannot get with.
Good thing for you they are bringing them back. Now to get lucky to be involved in a lottery to buy just one box at a hefty price, and maybe a mark up of 50-100% in aftermarket findings for a second box.

They're fulltune regular production so hopefully after the fervor dies down I won't have too much trouble.
