Cigar Boxes
If anyone happens to get a box of these I would be interested in buying the boxes. Cant justify paying the $250 for the cigars but this is pretty cool.

Camacho boxes also tend to be very thick, sturdy, and glossy. It would be a nice collection piece.

Re: Cigar Boxes
Speaking of collections, I’ve been gathering cigar box lids for what will be, hopefully, the primary wall decorations for a planned two-story garage whose second floor will be my cigar lounge/man cave. This is part of a major reconstruction of our long-outgrown, single story home which we hope to start next spring. This is a sampling of the 70+ tops I’ve gathered thus far.

Re: Cigar Boxes
Are you saving a couple cigar boxes to make cigar box lamps also? Maybe strike a trade with Chubno for a couple cigar fan pulls or a sign?

Re: Cigar Boxes
Doh! When we moved down, I had more than a couple hundred boxes lying around, left over from the days when I had the wholesale license. I gave them to a friend, who used a few to decorate and filled his fire pit with the rest...

Heck, you could’ve used all of those to build yourself cute, little nap-shack on top of the hill at Gracesqui’s.

I mean to mention, the teams that came down this summer did a great deal of work on their new house with the project fees from their trips. It's a stunning upgrade from the old one, and is mostly complete now. They are now framing the interior walls.

I sincerely hope your favorite podcast host will have the chance to bid the insulation at your house. I typically consult on energy efficiency but we do have an insulation side of the business. Cellulose, all the way. That's where it's at in terms of quality paired with cost. No matter who you use, DO NOT install fiberglass batts.Stewmuse wrote: ↑Thu Aug 30, 2018 9:38 pmSpeaking of collections, I’ve been gathering cigar box lids for what will be, hopefully, the primary wall decorations for a planned two-story garage whose second floor will be my cigar lounge/man cave. You did not. That is MEGA-awesome. They should have a “tip the old house down the hill” party when they finish!Kip wrote: ↑Fri Aug 31, 2018 8:46 amI mean to mention, the teams that came down this summer did a great deal of work on their new house with the project fees from their trips.
