Well tried a new cigar Sat. called a Girka Rogue Ruthless, really don't know what to think really, box pressed, firm pack, tastes of cedar, nuts and black pepper, fairly decent smoke output, the flavors didn't change much and not a fan of 6X54 sizes. Have any of you smoked this??

No. I don't smoke Gurkhas, as I have never found any that are worthwhile for me.
On a side note; we have a thread just for cigars we smoked, just so you know.

I like their Havana Blend. Other than that, I don't smoke many Gurkhas at all.

Gurkha isn't all bad. I think the inconsistency many of us have encountered stems from having their cigars made all over the place. There have been a few I liked. The original Shaggy was phenomenal. I havent' had one in a long time, but I *really* liked them back in the day. Like Ian, I also appreciated the Cellar Reserves. Smoke what you like; like what you smoke...

I tend to like many of the Gurhka cigars but I also tend to like Honduran blends. I think the total number of blends they put out tend to hurt them overall in the long run.

That and the wide variety of factories the utilize. That *can* be a good thing, but I don't think they're entirely on top of their blends nor manufacturing QA. I have noticed them leaning more on PDR in recent times, which could be a good sign that they're consolidating more.

Jay and Kip have hit the nail on the head. Man, 10 years ago those shaggys were mind blowing. I liked Ancient Warriors occasionally around the same time too.
