Whatever floats yer boat....as long as it's cigar related.

This is a little firecracker of a cigar that Frank sent me. Really enjoyable for the first 3/4, tho it did get harsh in the last inch. I usually wait until lighting the cigar before taking a pic, but I was afraid there wouldn't be any cigar left! :-)
Definitely enjoyed it!

I think that the naming of their custom rolled sizes is actually a bit off some times. There was often that I smoked a "corona", but it was more of a corona larga or petite corona. Same with the robustos.
As for wrapper color; they were different from one LCDH to another. Yolandas were always colorado, Alex's were always colorado claro and Reinaldos were always colorado maduro almost. His were always the strongest too by far. Age will do them good.

Both of these cigars have had a *marked* aroma. Significant. Bold. Meaty and sweet like Kansas City BBQ. It's the craziest thing ever, and I have zero clue why. I've NEVER smelled a cigar like this. The closest approximation is McClelland's VA-based pipe tobaccos. They'd never say what part of their process creates the aroma, but it's very distinct.

Very different. Sweeter and darker, more akin to BBQ sauce than the fire....

After being sick for more than a week, I can finally enjoy a cigar. Oh, how I've missed it!

Maybe it's like becoming one with the cigar. You lose yourself in it; everything fades away: your worries, your problems, your thoughts. They fade into the smoke, and the cigar and you are at peace. - Raul Julia

Since I'm now largely relegated to my garage or car for cigars, i stay primarily with cheaper smokes. These can be pretty good to just average, and this was on the avergae side. Not bad, certainly, but not great. It fills a role.
