For the love of Pete, please tell me what would make this ashtray worth $160?! Or for that matter any of the others, going up to $800? Even if they're each a one-off, none appear too difficult to fabricate for a good machinist. Am I missing something, or is this one of those hipster things I just wouldn't understand?

All you need as a response to your Hipster comment is the photograph with the craft beer can. That, and the fact that the welds are amateurish, at best. I'm sure it's heavy as hell and cool to have but it's scrap steel that looks like it. pass

The big one IS awesome but I can't imagine anything more than $80 for it, and that's not a price I'd pay, rather a price I'd expect to see.
