A little review.

Interesting band. I like it very much.

I decided to do a write-up for this cigar. Cut the cap and I got this bitter cocoa w/ a blast of pepper right away. I'm currently progressing through the first third: Aroma is w/out a doubt florally. Flavors are earthy, woody, cocoa, peppery and char. The smoke is light, but the body is heavy.

Second third: on the palate the spice has died down, but subtle on the retro. Woody flavor is still there. Earth has died down. Subtle coffee and raisin flavor.

Final third: pepper and coffee appear. Salty flavor appears. Fin.

Because of the heaviness of the body in the first third, my palate started to feel worn out. When I first saw it on CI many months ago, I thought it was a lot like a lot of their other exclusives. I'm really happy I got to try this cigar. I wish the the cocoa was present through the entire cigar because it was that excellent. The char really bothered me. I'm going to definitely buy more of these -- a box or a fiver -- and just sit on them. There were no burn issues, construction was great, and the burn was great. If I had to rate it out 1-10, I'd say a 7. It would've been an 8 or 9 if it wasn't for that heavy char flavor I got in the first third.

Thank you for the opportunity to smoke this cigar, Hooiser!

Nice review brother. Glad to hear you enjoyed it. Too bad about the char flavor.
