Out of curiosity, how many of you agree with the placement of this cigar in the Top 25?

I didn't get it. Although General has put out some very good cigars over the past few years, I didn't find the Flathead appealing. It was just that to me...flat. Generic. There was nothing in it that held my interest beyond the samples I smoked. But what do I know? There's a reason they make so many different kinds of cigars...

In all honesty, is the Padron 50 Anniversario up for nomination or since that was technically last year (despite becoming available this year) it won't have a chance?

I could see a Cuban being number 1. It would be good marketign given the climate of change. Monte 80th or the Partagas Maduro #1. I loved the Party and enough people hated it that I could see CA going against the grain here. That being said, I don't think either of those cigars are worthy, personally.

I don't think their list is limited to the past year - firstly, because all but #1 in that image are the real selections. Second, some of those pictured cigars have been out for many years.

Connie A is a large enough cigar, so they will market it well in the States, and a popular enough cigar now that it might have a chance. It is getting too many mentions across the boards on too many peoples lists to ignore it.
