This is probably one of the pretties bands I've ever seen.

Last, i think, of the first batch of these I rolled mid-2014. Pretty unimpressive start, but 1/3 - 1/2 way in, it really starts to make you appreciate it, esp. on the retrohale. Very easy there with a nice, residual flavor on the back of the palate.

Tonights Delight.

Ramon Allones Short Perfecto RE Italia 2014.

Gotta get some CC's in before the trip. This will be a first. Haven't had a Ramon in a long time. I don't usually stock this brand.

Maybe it's like becoming one with the cigar. You lose yourself in it; everything fades away: your worries, your problems, your thoughts. They fade into the smoke, and the cigar and you are at peace. - Raul Julia

That was the first cigar I smoked at the event tonight. I was turned off after the first few puffs. I got hit with the biggest blast of pepper. The retro made my eyes water, couldn't breathe. Totally unforgiving. It did mellow out towards the 2/3, but it still didn't do anything for me.

Hmm I've had two so far and they both had pepper on it but nothing that bad. I did think that it was a little different from the regular LFD stuff that I smoke, not in a bad way just it left me desiring something more complex or at least more change especially for 16 buck a stick or so but I thought it was a smooth full body cigar but definitely not your typical LFD.

So. Now that I had to chuff it down due to a bunch of tobacco missing from the center, thus trying to keep it lit. Tasted a lot like a RASS, but a bit more punch. I personally don't smoke many Ramon Allones, and this is a great representation of why. It is a great RA smoke, yes, but if you want something easier to find at a lower price point, I would suggest a good RASS. Not a normal, but a good one.
