I have no idea if, or when, loose leaf Cuban tobacco will be readily available, but I sure as heck will be doing my "mad cigar scientist-est" to make it work!

I think the real advantages will come down the line when manufacturers can get raw leaf off the island and ferment and age it properly in their own factories. I think then you will see the full potential of a NC/C blend. Timing wise though I think we are a long way off because when it opens, demand from the common person will be enough to drive the export leaf availability down.

I will predict a blend on the market within the first 2 years but the quality to not be there and fully developed until 5-6 years from the open market in the US.
