Happy birthday, Steve!

I finally smoked one of the new Partagas Maduro #1s... And LOVED IT! I don't know if I've read a single positive review of them yet but I have nothing to complain about. It was not definitively Partagas, nor definitively Cuban tasting, but it succeeded at being its own animal. I woke up this mornign with the finish still on my palate and actually thought it was tasty. I couldn't put my finger on many flavors but they were there. It burned quick and slightly hot but I'll concentrate more next time on slowing her down. Construction was flawless!

Yes the 15 is a redux of 2011. They are tight if over humidified so keep em dry. I'm on box numero dos.

Enjoy!

Well then I will warn you guys to smoke them within the first couple years then. I was not impressed with mine as they aged. I had the 2011's and found that they were best under 2 years.

These are losing that young strength and growing into that typical custom rolled flavor many people love. I persoanlly like them younger.
