I use a V-cutter exclusively the only problem I had was lots of tar coming thru when I was in Florida in February. The high humidity was the root cause so while I was there I used a Palio cutter.

Talking,about Palio, are they out of business? The website hasnt been updated for years and you never hear about Esencia cigars anymore? I think Kip and Bob mentioned something about it a few weeks ago?

I've wondered the same. We tried email several times but got no response. The only local shop I had with them dropped the line long ago.
