Re: World domination...
A new tribe has joined colonial casa trompeta. The C2 is a combination of corojo and criollo fillers under a Dominican binder and Ecuadoran wrapper. A C3 and C4 are in the pipeline, adding other "C" tobacco. Colombian? Cameroon?

No, no corojo in the Mild Bunch. Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Honduran seco fillers. The Honduran does seem to share some characteristics with the corojo, tho...

I'd think so. It has that slight sweetness I get from corojo. Sorta tangy.Stewmuse wrote:No, no corojo in the Mild Bunch. Dominican, Nicaraguan, and Honduran seco fillers. The Honduran does seem to share some characteristics with the corojo, tho...

Re: World domination...
Decided to do something different and have a little fun. Went on eBay and found a bunch of auctions for batches of old (so they say) cigar labels from defunct companies. The overall style is certainly reminiscent, so what the hey? Bought 5 different, "generic" labels (no people or company names) last week and 4 more yesterday. The first batch arrived today. Very cute and inexpensive. Only downfall (?) is that they are all on the small side, with the biggest one barely able to be used on a 52 ring. Of course, smaller rings were the most common back then, so that's another reason to think these might be real, and they're perfect for my 5 x 43 sticks. Wheee....
