Salomons and figurados

Is it just me, or do sticks always light really easily and spread the burn really evenly? Having a Quesada Q d'etat Daga salomon and it's smoking perfectly.

There are two schools of thought here. 1) you're totally off base. 2) A higher quality roller typically puts together figurados and thus you're seeing the workings of a master craftsman.

This being said, I'm more in the camp of door #1 :)

....a third school: When lighting, one doesn't have to evenly light such large surface area. It's easy to light just the nipple on the end of a figurado, which takes care of evenly distributing the ember as it burns into the larger ring area. Do a better job of lighting a parejo and you'll get better results with them :D
White shores, and beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise....
