It's a warm one today. Mowing is done. Enjoy

I'm not sure why these Black Abyss cigars are rated do high. They've been sitting in my humi for about 2 months and have no flavor. The description showed full bodied but I guess everyone has their own taste.

Couldn't let that Black Abyss be the last cigar I smoked this week. I also love the weeks where the wife's shows have two episodes.

I will be sad when I am out of these, but enjoy them every time I have one.

Down in Baton Rouge this evening. Tropical storm went East and North but that doesn't stop meetings being cancelled after you get there.Image

More rain paired with some reading and a Lot 23 from Frank S. I have always liked the Lot 23 line from Perdomo feeling they are one of the best maduros one can acquire at their price point or any for that matter. This one cracked at the foot when it fell off the table, but lit and smoked like a champ. That is some good construction Perdomo, well done! Also thank you to Frank for the reminder on why I like these cigars.

Incredible respect for Nick. Some great cigars. Only peeve is that he sometimes comes off as pompous in his videos.

Maybe it's like becoming one with the cigar. You lose yourself in it; everything fades away: your worries, your problems, your thoughts. They fade into the smoke, and the cigar and you are at peace. - Raul Julia

The aroma of this cigar is incredible — like gooey oatmeal raisin cookies (w/ an extra dash of cinnamon) in an oven!!! Jeez!!!! Thank you, Craig, for this beauty!!!! Image
