Well with all things involving cbid patience for the right deal is key. For the John Bull cigars I would recommend the crown, bulldog, or Britannia sizes. Anything else is way to big for a blend that is pretty straightforward. Toast, cream, sweetness, the occasional grassiness, more cream, sometimes you get a dud-but more often than not a solid smoke. Have been smoking the brand for almost a decade and it is my go to poor man conny wrap cigar.BowhuntnHoosier wrote: ↑Wed Aug 08, 2018 1:28 pmNever had one. Going to go find some right now. I usually figure anything under $5 a stick is a pretty cheap price. Enjoy brother
Now.. since you also are into pipes let me just say that while wholly unrelated flavor wise John Bull makes a good English blend pouch of pipe tobacco as well. Wonderful for keeping at work, in the glove box, out camping or whatever cuz it is a self sealing pouch. Reminded me of summer sausage and campfires. Can also be won on cbid to the patient for as low as $2.50 a pouch.
Hope you have success and enjoyment from a perennial favorite no name budget smoke of mine.
