What a glorious morning out on the porch with the last of my LJ300s! This was the first cigar line I bought that was more than $5 in my life and man was it worth it. They aren't around anymore, but if you can find one-especially in the torpedo- I would encourage you to make the purchase. The cigar is absolute perfection of what to do with Cameroon wrapper. Toffee, spice, coffee, as well as buttery toasty wood and slightly fruity notes on this slice of heaven smoked with coffee on a 75 degree morning with a light breeze. Again- Glorious!

What if I told you I *might* be able to secure some of those? Don't hold me to it, but I think I remember there still being some of those at my local supermarket, in the La Aurora cabinet. I'll check and if so, they're yours.

Outside of the one I personally drink from, only one other remains. My Dad loved the one I'd given him, but my Mom accidentally broke it. I had one packed up to replace it for him when I got the call he'd died. So, it remains packed up ready for him - and will continue to be so. I haven't had the heart to open and use it for anything else.

I feel ya. When my mother passed in 2005 we made CDs of songs she preformed at church for anyone that wanted one. I have one of course, but still cannot get myself to listen to it.

Sherman 1930, love the size — like a Rothschild, but not a fan of the cigar. Image

Love these La Palina Maduro Image

Maybe it's like becoming one with the cigar. You lose yourself in it; everything fades away: your worries, your problems, your thoughts. They fade into the smoke, and the cigar and you are at peace. - Raul Julia
