My pre-wedding band gig cigar. Hopefully, it's not what brought on a mid-evening headache that, at first, was merely taunting, but was punishing for the last 3 hours of my day.

Saturdays Delight.

H Upmann Royal Robusto
Very meh, until the first 2 puffs were done. Then it livened up.
These were the first Cuban cigar that made me think they are shipping and making CC's with Nicaraguan tobacco. It is just so zingy off the bat. I can "taste" Nica tobacco in small amounts. Now this could just be me, but I would be surprised if they could replicate that flavor with just a tobacco strain and some fermentation....

time for a little "swordplay..." A little veiny, but the draw and burn are fine, kinda strong on the retrohale. Kind of a pleasant sting, actually.

I'm really enjoying some of the recent-ish releases from Camach. This Connecticut, the Ecuador, and the American Barrel Aged are all winners!

"Kinda strong on the retrohale" is an understatement of epic proportions...

Sometimes you just wanna go out with a girl who, perhaps, is not as refined or... virtuous as others. It can still be enjoyable, kinda like Field Girl. Do you agree, Craig??? :-)

Back to more standard, respectable fare.

Nothing yesterday, as I was down & out with a fever and lethargy. Actually had a bit of a dengue scare the past couple days. Still not certain, considering most folks' first exposure is mild. Hopefully, this country-wide pesticide application will beat back the mosquitoes a bit. Feeling almost normal this morning, so I'm starting with a DPG Blue Lancero....
