Dc sent me a care package this week. Had an unbanded stick that was pretty darn good. This John Bull was less so, having something of a soapy aftertaste. I probably won't be able to swear tomorrow...

Last nights other Delight.

EPC Short Run 2015.
I have a love for Criollo tobacco, and this is a great representation. I was very pleased with this cigar. First Short Run since 2011 that I have actually liked.

Ashton ESG to end the night. What a fantastic evening here in NYC!

Maybe it's like becoming one with the cigar. You lose yourself in it; everything fades away: your worries, your problems, your thoughts. They fade into the smoke, and the cigar and you are at peace. - Raul Julia

Just to clarify, this is the 24-year salute. Idk if it's worth the asking price (or above the asking price), but it was good. All in all, I'd much rather reach for the VSG's when I come across them.

When the ESG first hit the market, I didn't care much for them. They seemed heavy on strength and light on flavor. HOWEVER, after several years' time, they'd mellowed drastically and I really like the blend. I still have one or two somewhere around here from the original release. I should probably fire them up soon.

I've been craving this cigar for a few days, and finally have a nice afternoon and the time.

Another stick from the bomb DC sent me. A Pueblo. THIS cigar is actually pretty darn fine. An early-time smoke to keep!
