Gee, it's like Kip and I are having the same cigar! Almost. Of course, his was rolled with precision and care and stored for 17 millennia, while mine was two extra leaves leftover from a rolling session that I slapped together in two minutes, so...

Cigarro del dia - numero cinco

Smokes from last night. For some reason they wouldn't upload yesterday. Nevertheless, some excellent cigars were enjoyed and Old Fashioned's were drunk.

Cigar Lounge house blend, and it was surprisingly good. Image

Maybe it's like becoming one with the cigar. You lose yourself in it; everything fades away: your worries, your problems, your thoughts. They fade into the smoke, and the cigar and you are at peace. - Raul Julia

You do use bourbon, correct? Love them with orange bitters.

Having one of "expanding ring" cigars I rolled last month. Very smooth with an easy draw and burn, even tho it still has a bit of dampness. These shaped sticks are the last I have that include Peruvian tobacco in it, which I really enjoy. This tobacco, though, has been unavailable to me for over three years . Rats...

Time for a practice/calisthenics session for tonight's big band job. No, I don't pkay the blue horn on these gigs. I'm saving it for polka season!

Warped's Flor de Valle. Meh. It reminded me of a Casa Fernandez stick. Some enjoyable brown sugar sweetness in the first third that was enveloped, drenched and wrapped in overwhelming pepper, earth and spicy tobacco flavors. Kip would enjoy it; somehow. I, did not. I especially did not considering its $10.50 retail price for a robusto WITHOUT any tax added yet.

I believe that IS a Casa Fernandez-produced cigar.

Also, $10.50 is about 20% over MSRP.
