Reading and hearing about all the Quesada love exhibited around here, I decided to have this Quesada Tributo. Very good, especially considering its a few years old. It still packs a good punch.

I'm a pretty doding Quesada lover and have never seen that band. Do you have an idea of blend/vitola, etc? I'm intrigued.
I received it from CRA as a renewal perk (paid for handling...), so no idea. Web search has some info on CRA only releases. Your guess is better than mine. Wrapper light, but not as light as a Connecticut.

I believe (but absolutely not certain) that the CRA Quesada was a Tributo. My memory sucks (blame the tumor), but I think that was it. My buddy Geoff had one of them and we looked it up at the time.

The FHK might be my favorite of the Ezra Zion sticks. Maybe. Except, maybe the Inception was. I dunno. Whichever one I'm smoking at the time.

Last Nights Delight.
Monte No.1 Sept '11 (Lonsdale, the perfect size)
The perfect first-cigar-of-the-day cigar. Light bodied Monte flavors unril the last 1/3 where it ramps up to a nice low end medium with those creamy and coffee flavors Montecristo brings.

I am a devoted Monte fan. The 1s I've had have mostly been FULL of cocoa and cream. Of all their offerings, the most likely vitolas to exhibit these flavors are the 1s and Especial 1s. If I was guaranteed that every Monte was that way I might seriously smoke nothing but. It is that enjoyable. All too often they are sweet tangy fruit, similar to tart cherries. Not as enjoyable.
