That pic was probably around 10ish pm. At home, it would be closer to 9:20 when it gets that dark at night.kurtdesign1 wrote:When was that picture taken? 11pm?
Michael....penguins are in the south pole....sheesh. There have been polar bear sightings here in the winters though.
And yes, there is AC needed in server rooms to keep temps constant.

Re: Cigarro del dia - numero siete
A few years ago, I bought some San Andres wrapper, which proved to be fairly hard with which to work - thick and veiny. As a filler, though, that same leaf is awesome. Like it is in this cigar, my "Wanderlust," accompanied by some Nicaraguan ligero and Brazilian mata fina. Being two years old probably helps, too. Here's to the weekend!

Re: Cigarro del dia - numero siete
Cigar by firelight. This is the last, i believe, of a cigar wrapped with "Ecuador Yellow" leaf. At least, that's the moniker under which it was sold by (now defunct for whole leaf sales) Otoao cigars. Was never a big fan of that leaf, so i probably last bought it in 2012 or 2013, which is when this cigar was probably wrapped. Mostly Dominican filler. Smoking very well and tasting better than i remember it being. Go gently into that good night, little feller...

A surprisingly pleasant cigar at a great price. This picture is C-Bid's "Free Fall" auction style, where you wait until the auction prices reaches "your price." Of course, it might restart at a higher price at any time. I just got 10 of these Casa Torano robustos for $24.36. That's a win!

Preparing for a big day at a school where we may be adding some classes in an impoverished barrio here in Santiago (La Yagüita de Pastor)....having an 858 Sungrown and NOT appreciating the new forecast "Cone of Uncertainty" for Irma....it's still a few days out, but has trended much more westward the past 24 hours.

Yes. Let's just hope that, among many other things, that the work on the Palo Alto road isn't ruined/washed away. Good luck.Kip wrote: ↑Mon Sep 04, 2017 7:07 amPreparing for a big day at a school where we may be adding some classes in an impoverished barrio here in Santiago (La Yagüita de Pastor)....having an 858 Sungrown and NOT appreciating the new forecast "Cone of Uncertainty" for Irma....it's still a few days out, but has trended much more westward the past 24 hours.

Yesterdays Delights.
Upmann Royal Robusto '14
Gifted from a friend. Was very sharp. Not the typical flavor I recognize from an Upmann RR. It wasn't bad, but I seem to notice these thicker/darker wrappers are making cigars very sharp and biting. I had some Hoyo with the same issue.
