This is an Limited Edition size of the normal Diesel Unholy Cocktail blend that I picked up in a Diesel sampler box a year or so ago. In my opinion, AJ Fernandez hit a home run with the Diesel line. Most of them can be had for less than $4 per stick if you buy them by the box (and that's regular price at CI). It's no secret that I love AJ's blends and the Diesels and Man O War are my absolute favorites.

A bit of a departure for EP Carrillo (in my opinion), and I like it. Slight, manageable spice, good burn, and great construction.

Interesting. I just posted about this cigar on Saturday. Perhaps its non EPC-ness is why I liked it, too.

Really enjoying this Untold Story Maduro. Seems more mild than I had expected. Subtle tea, wood, and banana flavors to me. Do not ever remember getting banana from a cigar before.

Been smoking my own, mostly, this week, but today this beauty's song was just too tempting.

You know I am just beyond belief on how great Padrons burn. Cannot remember one not burning even. This #1 Maduro is I believe 54rg and its perfectly even over half way through it.

Tonights Delight.
Montecristo No.1 Sept '11
These are the ones I shared as a blind tasting with Kip and Craig. I believe Craigs review was the same as what I would describe. It just doesn't have that quintisential Monte profile in spades. It does however ramp up by the last 1/3 and finally finishes well enough...but where is it earlier ? I wish it was like the last 1/3, but alas it is not and as such disapoints me.
