Is there a way to tell a Don Carlos apart from other Fuentes by appearance only? That does not mean direct measurements are allowed.

Also not including how the wrapper looks (Camaroon vs Sungrown [which is what leaf, BTW?], etc)

Don Carlos is the only regular production line that carries the Black/Red bands AND is not a perfecto.

Unless you include the Sungrown series and 858 Sungrown. Those are specific sizes and less widely available.

Close enough! Altho I can hold my cigar and play at the same time. As Craig might say, neener-neener... :-)
Somewhere Mike just rolled another cigar on his own and said, "beat that, kid". And we all bowed our head in shame.
Oh, I don't know if any shaming is involved, but I have just finished up two dozen Nicaraguan (near)-lanceros (5-6 x 38) this AM. This size is perfect for my College of DuPage teaching road trips.

Stay smokey, my friends.

I believe this is the Rosado wrapper. I could be wrong in which my second guess would be Sungrown Habano.

Tonights Delight.

Fume D'Amour Robusto.
Not nearly as good as the Toro. I can't recommend that longer cigar more in this line. I have yet to try the Petite Corona, but will get the chance soon enough when we go away on vacation.

Yesterday marked one year since my Dad passed away. I commemorated the day with the best thing I could scrounge up in my stash. Not the most expensive or rare, but these original Destinos really hit me just right. I wish beyond anything my Dad could have made a trip down here to hang with these kids. He'd have had the time of his life. Neither he nor they could have communicated a single word in exchange but they'd have loved each other's company.
