A friend spent a week in Havana this summer and brought back a few cigars to share. This was VERY pleasant, maybe the best Cuban cigar I’ve had.

That cigar is absolutely beautiful looking. I have never heard or seen it before. I'm all ears for whatever you know.

Is your buddy talking about Havana, Florida? I have never heard or seen that cigar either. The gold wrap is a bit more than they usually do too. Is it some kind of special cigar ? Crazy.

Havana, Cuba. I believe he said that the roller of these cigars, or at least, similar cigars, was working in a storefront (where this cigar was purchased) and rolled cigars for the customers. I’ll try to get more info from him (Craig, you know him - Blair).

I have been corrected. This was bought in Miami as my friend was returning from Cuba. The rest of my story is correct.

Did you check the cigar for bruising?
I kid, I kid. If I wouldn't have known it came from a friend and a guy I trust, I'd say fake. That's the coolest get-up I've seen on a custom rolled cigar. Nifty. I await more info!

Actually with all that gold and the word “bello” on it my mind sadly went straight to Minions...

You know Blanco has some pretty good cigars. This Nine Toro is very nice. Don't really get where these are full strength though. Oh well can't have everything. Enjoy
