Another of the best cigar to be released this year, in my experiences. The corona gorda is magnificent.

I really wanna try these. I've heard bad things, but mostly from "strong"'cigar smokers. I love a mild cigar in the morning, and this might be great

I know. It looks a lot like last night's picture. It's just what I do in the eves... This cigar is a one-off that I free-rolled with the last of my Peruvian leaf, plus some CT broadleaf and Dominican lijero. Pretty darn good, as all the Peruvian sticks have proven to be. Just hope I can again find some more someday.

It is perfect in the morngin but I think I enjoy it best after things get going, a bit. It's a bit crisp for coffee. I like a medium roast and even still, the connecticut brings out a slight crispness in what I'm usually drinking. Dark roast locally is too burned tasting so I haven't experiemented together. This cigar is layered and nuanced and full flavored. It is not, however, peppery or aggressive, as I've found the 1964s to be in the past couple of years. I love it. This week's offering continued in a progression I've noticed in this box where a sweet bready flavor (akin to a nut bread) is starting to peak through. These are spectacular with a bit of extra box time. Note: I don't own a box. I've been to the same B&M a few times and noticed that I'm the only one buying from this box...

Second round of shoveling complete, now on to second cigar of day... Bobalu oscuro. Still kinda weird and grassy. Don't know if I'll finish it.

Ramon Allomes Cellestial Finos
Hell yeah ! Started off ok, but finished about as good as you can get in a great RA profile.

La Escogida Lonsdale Nov '14
So rich in the buttery/creamy/sweet light flavors. I absolutely love this blend.

Las Calaveras 2014 Robusto
Great change up cigar from the CC's that were smoked earlier.
Rich black cherry and walnut flavors coming from this one. Great googly moogly...

Revisiting my stash of Blessed Leaf Kairos. These had a pretty sharp edge to them early on, and at the other intervals I tried them. At 18 months, this one is very calm. Dark and raisin-ish, in fact. Very different - and much more enjoyable than the early in-your-face profile.
