At my Mom's house, enjoying one of my knockabout pipes I retrieved to return to the DR with me. Having some Navy Flake and savoring the moment.

Tomorrow we head to VA to then speak at a church on Sunday....and to meet up with Cigarman4Life (listener John Craig) in D.C. on Monday.... Image

Today on the porch. I admit to buying this because the packaging looked cool. Turns out to be your run of the mill Maduro. Good, but nothing that will have me buying them by the box.

Had a few new cigars (to me) the past couple of days. The Curivari is a line I had not beard of before starting the cigar job, and it was very enjoyable and felt “full” while smoking. The Torano Vault is one of the lines from after General’s purchase of the company. It’s billed as a full/strong cigar but I’m not finding it nearly so. A good cigar, though. The CLE Prieto is the weakest of three, being a completely average tasting cigar - that is, if you give it to me to smoke, I’ll accept it, but I won’t be buying any more.

Cooled off about 9pm last nite so out to the back porch I went, and prepared I was. Nice evening until the bugs thoroughly began ignoring the smoke and OFF candle I had lit.

Really love these Mr. Sam’s in the corona size — gonna age into a really elegant smoke Image

Maybe it's like becoming one with the cigar. You lose yourself in it; everything fades away: your worries, your problems, your thoughts. They fade into the smoke, and the cigar and you are at peace. - Raul Julia

This one was good, the other I had on my fishing trip kinda got drenched during an unexpected downpour.
